Our Safety & Your Security

At Beyond the Nest, your child's health and safety is our top priority. Our fully qualified and experienced team members are dedicated to providing a secure environment for everyone.

Our nursery is completely access controlled and monitored both internally and externally, allowing fully secure entrance and exit points.

We conduct regular assessments in accordance with Ofsted guidelines to ensure that our practices are of the highest standards.

Information on Funding

15 hours

For families where both parents work 16 hours+ per week.

Support with paying for childcare

universal credit

Up to 85% paid back

For families who are in receipt of Universal Credit.

You must be in paid employment

Starting work within the next month.

Parents need to claim their childcare by “reporting child care costs” on their Universal Credit account.

Tax-Free childcare

Your eligibility depends on:

whether you're working (employed, self-employed, or a director)
your income (inc. your partner’s income, if you have a partner)
your child’s age and yours or their circumstances
your immigration status

A guide to funded hours

All children can begin to receive their funded educational hours from the term after their third birthday.

Access is granted from the beginning of the terms below:

Autumn Term

A child born on or between

1st April and 31st August.

start: september

Spring Term

A child born on or between

1st September and 31st December.

start: january

Summer Term

A child born on or between

1st January and 31st March.

start: april

Funding then continues at Beyond The Nest until your child starts Reception Class at school, in the year they turn 5.

Blossom - Mobile Application

At Beyond The Nest, we are dedicated to capturing the magic of a child's early years, documenting their learning journey every step of the way. To do this, we have adopted an innovative online program called ‘Blossom’. This secure platform enables your child’s key person to complete observations and gather photos and videos using a tablet.
