As well as being a place of early education, we pride ourselves on ensuring that all children are coming into a nurturing, caring, ‘home from home’ where they are valued and listened to.

Our approach prioritises children, recognising that they learn most effectively when they are curious, engaged, and interested. These qualities are best nurtured through play.

Play provides children with the chance to explore their interests, ask questions, plan, and take risks. It also encourages creativity and imagination.

Through play, children interact with and engage in the world around them, making it an essential part of the Beyond The Nest curriculum.

We are incredibly passionate about creating calm and nurturing spaces. All play equipment, furniture and resources have been carefully considered and planned for to aid learning in all areas of the Early Years Framework.

OUR ENVIRONMENT

connection is key

Each staff member is responsible for a small group of children, ensuring that your child has a dedicated adult to connect with. Research indicates that this key person approach benefits everyone involved: it creates secure relationships in which children thrive and parents feel confident.

Our goal is for children to feel safe, stimulated, and happy within our setting, and to feel secure and comfortable with all members of our staff.

Each key person conducts observations of your child, maintaining an individual record of their progress. Your child’s key person will always be available to discuss your child’s progress and development and we also offer regular parent evenings at convenient times to meet with you to discuss your child’s learning and development at length.
