At Beyond The Nest, we are committed to providing the best introduction to healthy eating through great-tasting, nutritious food in a purpose built, state

of the art dining room.

Our nursery follows a 3-week seasonal menu rotation, brimming with new dishes, child-favourites, and those all-important fruits and vegetables.
We see meal times as valuable learning and social opportunities, and the
dining room as the heart of the nursery.

Our meals are served over starter, main, and dessert courses, encouraging social eating through self-service and selection.

Here’s more about our nursery food:

We employ a qualified and experienced Nursery Chef.
All our snacks and meals are freshly prepared on-site every day.
Children have access to tap water as well as fresh milk, daily.
We exclusively use free-range eggs, Red Tractor approved meat, and fish from sustainable sources.
We proudly accommodate children with dietary requirements, including allergies, intolerances, and cultural or lifestyle preferences. We work closely with parents to provide the best food options possible.

Nourishing from within is crucial for young children, as it lays the foundation for lifelong healthy eating habits and optimal development. By prioritising fresh, wholesome foods and creating positive mealtime experiences, we support the physical and cognitive growth of all our children.

Our outdoor space is a place of endless possibilities, where children can embrace the freedom to explore, create, and connect with the natural world in all weathers. Just as our indoor environments are carefully designed to spark curiosity and independence, the outdoors provides a rich extension of this learning—encouraging children to move, experiment, and engage with their surroundings in meaningful ways.

Equipped with their Beyond The Nest waterproof suits, children are always ready to jump in puddles, dig in the mud, or feel the crunch of frosty leaves, staying warm and dry as they immerse themselves in outdoor adventures.

Opportunities for physical development are abundant, with open spaces to run, climb, and balance—helping to strengthen gross motor skills and build confidence in movement. Whether scaling a climbing frame, transporting heavy logs, or engaging in team games, children develop strength, coordination, and resilience.

The natural world serves as a source of endless creativity and discovery. From observing seasonal changes to hunting for minibeasts, children develop a deep understanding of the environment, sparking their curiosity about the world around them.

Creativity flourishes in our outdoor kitchen and tipi area, where children come together to role play, collaborate, and communicate. Whether concocting muddy potions, sharing stories around the tipi, or building dens, this space encourages rich social interactions and imaginative storytelling.

BABY ROOM

Step into our warm and inviting baby room, designed to nurture the earliest sparks of curiosity and wonder. Every detail has been thoughtfully created to provide a sensory-rich environment where little ones can explore safely and comfortably.

Soft, natural textures invite tiny hands to touch and discover, while gentle sounds and calming lighting create a soothing atmosphere. Our collection of high-quality books introduces babies to the rhythm of language, with engaging stories and vibrant illustrations that encourage early communication and connection.

Baby Room

A uniquely designed sleeping space offers a range of cosy cots, each lined with soft, breathable fabrics to ensure restful naps. This carefully arranged area provides a sense of security, allowing babies to drift into sleep feeling calm and comforted.

For moments of intimate care, a dedicated space ensures that feeding, changing, and nurturing routines are met with gentleness and ease. Thoughtfully placed feeding preparation areas allow for a seamless transition between play, rest, and nourishment, always prioritising the well-being of each child.

minis ROOM

Welcome to Minis, a space designed to nurture growing independence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Building on the warmth and thoughtful design of the baby room, Minis provides a rich and engaging environment where toddlers can explore, discover, and thrive.

With direct access to the outdoor area, children enjoy the freedom of free-flow play, moving seamlessly between inside and out each day. Whether riding our wonderful range of bikes, digging in the mud kitchen, or simply enjoying the fresh air, the outdoor environment is an extension of their learning, sparking imagination and adventure.

Toddler Room

Inside, the room is filled with warm décor and carefully curated play opportunities, inviting our children to engage in meaningful, hands-on experiences. A sit-in sandpit encourages sensory exploration and collaborative play, while the construction area provides endless opportunities for building, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Just like in the baby room, quality books and rich communication experiences remain at the heart of the space. Carefully selected texts and storytelling moments inspire a love for language, while thoughtful interactions support growing confidence in speech and expression.

Every activity is designed to encourage children to be curious, capable, and always learning, supporting their journey as they develop new skills, friendships, and a growing sense of self. Pre-School

GYMNASIUM

The Beyond The Nest Gymnasium is a truly versatile and inspiring space, designed to support children’s physical development, creativity, and sense of adventure. From energetic climbing sessions to calming yoga, this dynamic environment encourages children to explore movement, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love for physical activity.

At the heart of the gym is our bespoke climbing equipment, thoughtfully designed to challenge and engage children of all abilities. Whether they’re scaling, balancing, or jumping, each session helps to strengthen gross motor skills, coordination, and resilience in a fun and supportive setting.

Gymnasium

But the gymnasium is more than just a space for climbing—it transforms into a world of imagination and discovery. Our themed days bring new and exciting experiences, from turning the gym into a magical pumpkin patch, to obstacle courses, dance workshops, and interactive storytelling sessions. Every transformation invites children to explore movement in different ways, inspiring creativity, collaboration, and a sense of wonder.

Yoga and mindfulness sessions offer moments of calm and focus, allowing children to develop body awareness, balance, and emotional regulation. These sessions encourage relaxation and self-expression, helping children to feel grounded and connected.
